Duo Wins Trio
Here at DUO Building we are proud of our team’s accomplishments. We strive to do the best work to achieve the best results for our clients. For us, the satisfaction of a job well done lies in our clients’ happiness with the finished project. However, in the past few months, we have received additional recognition for our work with a triad of awards. We are thrilled to announce that we have been awarded Renovator of the Year from the London Home Builder’s Association, Best of Houzz in Client Satisfaction and Best of London: Best General Renovator/Contractor. We are very excited to share this news and would like to thank the London community for their continued support as well as the DUO team for their hard work. It is a huge honour to be celebrated in this way and we truly appreciate the recognition. Read on to learn more about the awards and what they mean to us.
Renovator of the Year 2017
We received Renovator of the Year in October 2017 from the London Home Builders’ Association. This is our second consecutive win and we could not be more honoured. According to the LHBA, the Renovator of the Year “highlights the home renovation LHBA member company that sets the standard for the rest of the industry through its leadership in improving the overall image of the industry.” DUO Building was reviewed by a committee of our peers and judgment was based on several criteria including community service, unique design and customer satisfaction. It is wonderful to receive such high praise from our peers and to be recognized for our positive contributions to the industry. We do not take this recognition lightly and plan to continue to strive for excellence and innovation, not only for our clients, but also for our industry at large.

Best of Houzz 2018 in Client Satisfaction
This is our second consecutive year and fourth year overall to win the Best of Houzz in Client Satisfaction. Houzz is an online community devoted to home improvement, architecture and all things design. With more than 40 million monthly users browsing for design inspiration, we are ecstatic that our activity within the Houzz community has positively stood out. This particular award is thanks to our fantastic clients who left reviews on our Houzz page. Client satisfaction is measured by the quality and quantity of client reviews received throughout the year. Thanks to you, we have a new badge on our Houzz page to recognize this achievement. Best of London 2018: Best General Renovator/Contractor
The Best of London is awarded annually by the London Free Press. These awards recognize excellence in many industries and are not limited to designers and builders. The Best of London provides an opportunity for members of the community to voice their opinions by casting votes for businesses they have firsthand experience working with. This is DUO’s third Best of London win in the Best General Renovator/Contractor category. We truly appreciate the support from the London community and would like to take this opportunity to thank everyone who voted. As a London-based business, it is important to us that we serve our community and maintain a positive and professional presence here in London. This award is the result of our excellent team and their customer service. We recognize that an award such as this relies on clients’ interactions with the team on an individual basis and it is those interactions that leave a lasting, positive impact. We believe that happy customers are the key to success, and happy employees are the key to happy customers.
Although our clients’ satisfaction is always our number one priority, it is both wonderful and humbling to receive awards such as these as recognition for our work. “While these awards are a great source of pride, it’s not something our company takes lightly,” says partner Keelan Malloy. “It reminds us of our responsibility to be good stewards in how we do business with our clients, our employees and the greater community.”
