Blackfriars Condo Residential TypesWhole Home
This luxurious Blackfriars condominium suite is located in the historical Raleigh House circa 1866. Overlooking the Blackfriars Bridge and Thames River, the historical architecture of this magnificent house has been paid homage to in the restoration and renovations. Complete restoration on this building with 4 luxury condominiums was completed 2014.
Our clients purchased the 2000 square foot newly renovated condo with a vision of wanting to stay here for a very long time and the existing floor plan did not match their lifestyle, needs or wants.
Their ask was to update every room with heated flooring, eliminate the cast iron rads, reposition the kitchen into the oversized living room to create a great room that has kitchen, dining and living space. New kitchen is European and ultra sheik.
Sparkle is everywhere. Working and living in this space is a dream. The kitchen spills into the converted upscale and elegant garden room.
Both bathrooms were updated along with some layout changes. Original kitchen area that was located at the front door was made into a storage and media room. As well it has created a very grand entrance to this beautiful home and great room. Some of this original kitchen space was given to enlarging the master ensuite closet.
In addition we converted the outdoor covered verandah into a 4-season Garden room to provide additional living space with amazing views of the changing seasons. A gas fireplace was added to the sunroom with built in cabinetry, floor to ceiling windows, garden doors to engage the palatial gardens, original doors to the covered verandah/now sunroom were maintained. The historical elements of this gracious space were maintained and every modern convenience was added to create a space that will truly invite the present owners to stay for a very long time.
