Hunt Club Kitchen

Our clients needed a kitchen space to match the modernity of their house, encourage entertaining and possess a higher degree of functionality. The original ten-year-old U-shaped kitchen design was inefficient and dated. Our objective was to open the space, revamp the aesthetic, and create a kitchen that could serve as the hub of household activity.

The previous angles and cabinetry made the large space feel cramped. Therefore, we removed the U-shaped kitchen as well as several walls. Partitions were adjusted to facilitate the open concept. The original wall oven was replaced by a range closer to the kitchen counters. A desk and walk-in pantry were both removed to make room for the larger island. While zero square footage was added, we doubled the kitchen capacity by enhancing its functionality. This created a gathering point for social events instead of an isolated cooking centre.

The new look incorporated porcelain tile floors, an embellished shaker style cabinetry configuration, Carrara and black granite countertops, and a natural walnut island. The brass handles on the island contrast with the stainless steel handles on the exterior cabinets effectively adding elegance to the space.

The result is a kitchen that flows better, looks brighter and makes the whole house feel newer.
