Hunt Club Bathroom

These homeowners were looking for a serious bathroom update. Although the home was only ten years old, the ensuite bath looked like it belonged in the 70s. Its outdated floor plan, large whirlpool tup and glass block shower created a cramped and dysfunctional space. The poorly-designed vanities lacked storage and the overall look of the room was cluttered, dark and dreary.

The new layout of the bathroom did not change any wall structures, instead, we worked within the existing space. We designed cabinetry and stone counters to run the length of an entire wall. Two oversized sinks, sufficient lighting and ample cabinet space make the bathroom functional, efficient and easy to use.

The large glass walk-in shower maintains the openness of the space and possesses a beautiful stone-topped bench with legs that match the wall tile. Natural light from corner windows lands on the strategically placed bathtub, enhancing the natural beauty of the space. The heated floor is porcelain tile with an exquisite marble basked weave inset. The material choices supported the creation of an open, uncluttered space with visual and functional flow.

The new ensuite matches the quality of the rest of this beautiful home. The homeowners have a spa-like space that accommodates their busy lifestyle while simultaneously providing a reprieve from the outside world.
